Il Pozzo Antico - Roseto capo spulico

We have been coming to the Pozzo Antico for years and it’s always been good but this last time was such a disappointment. My husband’s main was pork of sorts; a thin slice of fatty pork which was excessively salty. It arrived with the ordered “mixed grilled vegetables” which was a few slices of aubergine with some raw tomato and a slice of lemon

Have been here before and everything has been good tasty food and generous portions. But this time one thing after another went wrong. So many things on the menu were unavailable, several wrong dishes were sent out and the chef was a real wimp, constantly sending out his waiter to deal with our complaints. Our side salads and main of fried fish never even arrived! We asked to speak with chef/owner who dealt with the situation really badly, offering us a 1 euro discount per head! He repeated that he had said sorry and nothing else could be done and was quite argumentative. Just shoddy. If you make the journey into Rosetto from the Marina do yourself a favour and go The Nicchia instead it's light years ahead and features delicious local produce

I was on vacation and stopped by at Roseto and was totally surprised of how amazing this restaurant is. This is a great restaurant for English Speaking people as well!!!!
