Good Banh mi 's! If you ever have a banh mi (vietnamese sandwich) craving, do not see more than banh mi che cali. they make the banh mi fresh and have a buy 2, get 1 free special every day. what a deal to consider every banh mi costs $1.75! They serve not only delicious bananas, but also a wide range of other Vietnamese foods such as spring rolls, chicken beans, drinks etc.). if you worry about a limited banh mi selection, I think they have almost two dozen varieties of banh mi 's on their menu. Ordering and picking up your food is a bit annoying when they are busy. there is a central terminal to place your order, but you need to pick up banh mi 's on one side of the bakery and spring rolls on the other. Usually this will not be frustrating, but if you have lil old ladies try to jostle before you by among the poor, etc., it can quite control on your nerves 's. The controls they have in place are gratifying. ladies running the separate pick-up switches are not to be grounded. they control the fate of your food so friendly. should a person jostle in front of you, the neighborhood will push them back and then make a place in the line. How about that? I love you! All in all, banh mi che cali is a bomb attack place to pick banh mi 's and spring rolls for cheap.
Good service and sandwiches there, but their parking lot is always crowded and packed there. Also there were sometimes homeless people around there too as well. Like this one guy (without mask) always kept sitting outside next to the tree and newspaper stand everyday (mostly around noon like afternoon, and evenings like nighttime). Managers and employees never really do anything to him at all.
Great deal for Banh Mi- Vietnamese sandwich! Buy two get one free. Each costs $3. Many varieties of filling with French baguette bread. I love their BBQ port fillings with pickle carrot and chili. Their beef sandwich is awesome too. This tasted like the ones I get on the street of Hanoi. Besides Banh Mi, this restaurant also offers Banh Cuon( rice noodle with mushroom and minced pork filling), fried dough, pork buns, fried chicken with rice, fried rice, and great desserts. You can also eat in this outfit as they have a few tables for dine in but with no servers. This place tends to packed with people but the line usually move very fast.
The food is freshly made everyday and cheaper than other places. It's good for a quick bite to eat or take-out, especially during this time of Covid19.
