Mengano - Rosario

A typical Argentine restaurant, surrounded by Porteño accent and locals. When I went by, I came to this charming restaurant on Pellegrini. At first I came in just because I starved, but I was surprised by food, wine and price. I ordered the chicken with mustard sauce and chips. Everything was good. It's worth a try.

The place is not too inviting: many tables inside, several tables taken on the pavement every day, especially in the evening when it is the perfect time for a beer, a sandwich or the typical Carlito, the hot sandwich Rosenrino that prepares them so well. You can take salad, pasta, meat and many different dishes and snacks at any time of day, around the clock. For me, the best option is their club sandwiches: prepared when you order them, fresh, tasty, full of stuff inside, along with a glass of caught beer, they make the perfect meal for a summer evening. And not expensive at all, with great service!!

Traveling to Rosario seemed a good excuse to have a region that Carlito. The surroundings of Mengano, especially in the spring of Argenti, are charming. A great appetizers are Milanesa and Pickels and leave enough room for his Majesty Carlito. Do not hesitate to try the chicken combination over the classic, you will win one or another way. Simple, fast and yet tasty and fulfilling sandwich, paired with a quilt, makes every piece of this trip something to share as a must when visiting this beautiful and peaceful city.

We came to Rosario and we didn't know where we were going to eat around the street and found Mengano, where they welcomed us nicely and showed us the table that was in a nice, quiet and cool place, we asked for our dinner all the plates where hot and beautiful served, a great dinner for the chicken lover.

The place is noisy, too cramped inside but with tables outside for summer time, though in a most busy downtown avenue. Yet, if you want to try the best club sandwiches, or else the typical carlito a hot club sandwich with 3 4 layers of ham, cheese, egg, olives, pepper and ketchup this is the place. You can also choose from a good variety of dishes, the service is good, and not expensive at all.
