Great place to grab lunch and dinner actually. Perfect for sunset cocktail and/or to come by boat. Good owner.
I am not sure why this location is rated one of the best dine in sea food places. Upon entry you smell weird aromas of sea food and something unpleasant. In terms of cleanliness and maintenance, this location deserves a big zero or negative points. Avoid if you are looking for a hygienic place to eat. Most of their food is bland and cold unless you ask them to spice it up, still there is no guarantee that the food will have better quality in terms of taste. Instead of putting “be nice” signs in the interior, the owners should request a deep cleaning of the entire place from their staff on a holiday. Also, the dishes at this location are expensive. Do not try their lobster club sandwich, it is cold and bland and tastes disgusting.
The food was ok. I had the coconut shrimp platter. It was mediocre. The coleslaw was pretty bad. The oysters were not great. We had one of the oyster specials, and it was cooked super weird. The service was inconsistent, sometimes slow, sometimes good. My ambassador mixed drink was very good. My companions enjoyed their meals and had nothing to say good or bad. All in all, I was disappointed and expected more from an oyster bar/seafood place in Fort Lauderdale. I could come back, but I probably won't. *edit* service was very slow when trying to pay, and this place was NOT worth the price.
This is a perfect beach restaurant. No need to dress up or down just however you’re feeling. It’s BUSY. We went three days in a row at different times. The Piña Coladas were on point. I recommend getting a floater. Other than that the drinks were normal dive bar drinks. Coconut shrimp-uhhh my best friend. I ate them as my entree :D as well as an app. The oysters with the crab meat were also amazing. It was close to Las Olas and the food was great every time we were there.
