Osteria Il Riposto - Rome

We were quite hungry on arrival for our reservation and excited to try the food. Sadly the server forgot to put in our food order and by the time we got our orders we were so hungry and full of wine that it wasn’t enjoyable. We were super patient and understanding of the mishap (busy night, things happen) and the server did bring out some meatballs to snack on while we waited which was nice. They did try to make it up to us, we were just hungry and tired so we decided to get our dishes to go instead. Overall though the servers were all very nice, the wine was delicious and the ambience was great. Would make a great date night spot!

Friendly and good service. Nice ambience outside with string lights. I never miss a chance to order stuffed squash, blossoms, and here they were very good and cheesy. Also enjoyed the squid ink pasta with clams.

It was a wonderful experience for me. The food was delicious and the staffs were full of hospitality. I ordered too much and could not eat all, they kindly arranged takeaway voluntarily.However It was my awful mistake to forget a tip for showing my gratitude. So I would like to say here it must be highly recommended restaurant for everyone in Rome.

Tipica osteria, abbiamo preso due secondi, di cui L’abbacchio scottadito (molto gustoso). Servizio buono.
