Osteria Del Sostegno - Rome

Experienced, charming little restaurant where you can find many locals. I ate here several times when here for a month a few years ago and again last week. Nothing has changed. In a city with a lot of carbonaras this is up there. Everything we ordered was delicious.

We were so lucky to get a table here without reservation for our first night in Rome. It set the standard for the rest of the food we would eat the whole trip. We were really speechless when we took our first bite of Carbonara. We couldn't believe how amazing it was. I'm afraid I'll never eat pasta as perfect as that again. We'll be back to Rome.

What a special place, location, food and service. We were lucky to find a table without reservation. It was a highlight experience, each dish was delicious, and the staff was very nice.

Pleasant little place hidden away from a back road away from the Pantheon masses. We had pasta and real dessert and that 70s British aspirant middle class Lambrusco fave. Would go back.

Great restaurant every dish was amazing, friendly staff, good selection of wine. Much recommended!
