Buon ristorante atmosfera gradevole cibo ottimo e fresco servizio veloce. Da ritornarci.
Sinceramente credevo di spendere meno ma comunque il cibo era buono e speso bene
Vado da molto tempo in questo ristorante e sono sempre uscito soddisfatto. Lo consiglio bisogna provarlo.
The restaurant is not in what you’d call a prime location, being in an urban no man’s land in the outskirts of Rome that is so common in the SW of the city. This area, though not central and honestly not quaint is quite vibrant with the presence of many bars and restaurants, seen mmmm the proximity to the university Tor Vergata with its students. Well knowing the ups and downs of this area I did select this restaurant taking advantage of the Fork Festival with 50% off, electing to treat my spouse and me to a seafood dinner (Rome is bit a few kms away from the sea). The ambience of this restaurant is typical for this area, this means not really cozy or inviting but generally ok. The service has been agreeable though too hasted (almost had the impression that they wanted us ‘out’ as quickly as possible no proof but this was our perception). The quality of what we ate, which is the most important factor was barely ok: I am unsure whether any of the seafood we had was fresh and this showed in the taste of our meal. Disappointing to think that with the sea but a few kms away they’d open a seafood restaurant in the outskirts of the city relying entirely on frozen food. At any rate, they try to make do with these shortcomings offering sizable portions… which would of course be best if their taste were good. To be clear, nothing we had was particularly bad… nor was it particularly good: it surely showed it wasn’t fresh and that was the worst part. The worst part of it all was the price. No problem with the Fork’s discount (correctly applied to food and not the drinks as stated in the offer); the prices of this place are incredibly high. With as much as 22€ for a seafood pasta dish, you’d expect it to be good, certainly fresh seafood and not frozen. We paid 95€ in two, having a full meal. It would have been close to 170€ without the 50% discount. These are prices that you expect to pay for much better (and fresh) seafood in higher end places. All in all this was a barely ok experience. Marking this sufficient only thanks to the Fork’s discount. If you’re serious about seafood, I recommend to go somewhere else.
