Battistini Lido Beach - Rome

We went there for some drinks and it was a lovely place to spend a few hours. I really enjoyed it and it is well placed right near the beach.

Not a cosy place but good for a average good pasta. The service was good but overall slightly overpriced. You can access directly the beach and rent a 'sdraio e ombrellone ' for the day.

It is a nice place where you can get some discount if you are staying in a nearby hotel. However, it is overpriced on everything and the service is one of the worst I have seen on the beaches in Italy. The food was ok if you stay at the beach and want to have lunch, but I would not go there for dinner. It was quite clean, I have not seen any garbage around despite other comments, but it is full of kids and they make lots of noise on the playing grounds.

Happened by chance at lunch because the previous restaurant had bitterly disappointed us, we ordered ravioli full of fish. and a fish soup (usually for a person do not). we were pleasantly impressed. the director was kind, fast and professional. management is familiar but this does not preclude service or quality. We'll be back.
