Bidra med feedbackWe had our high time this march in the villa margot and had excellent service made by the coworkers and great French cuisine with products from the region. really happy with our experience!
Eating was usually nothing extraordinary. the waiters were really professional while they remained very friendly. the villa is beautiful. the food came too fast, no rest period between the meals.
Our daughter, who had enjoyed two previous visits, took us to lunch. the menu detail all its (local) suppliers, bio credentials everywhere, and the weinlist was impressive. the dinge looked good. Unfortunately, disappointment was increased by increased expectations. menu du jour. feuillte de poireau...with smoked trout in order, and veloute tasty, but not generous. daughter merlu seemed very nice. civet de cerf so salty that it is not possible, but when we were our daughter guests, we stayed. wife and grandson soon gave up. I had waited for 50 minutes on the second course to come, despite meal times that required very little cooking, and was very hungry and with a lot of brot to reduce salinity it got. later no brot offered with the aging champagne, but brownies and ice in order. we should have called the cook there and then, but the British reserve has prevented it. complained and mistakenly explained that civet is more concentrated, i.e. more salty, as the day goes on! so cook the stew was not the reason for the delay! others had also said it was too salty, apparently. the daughter sought a discount for 2 half consumed portions, but only nominal supplement from 29 mdj fee, viz 8 € and no fee for water and an icy.
This restaurant was recommended by a staff member of our hotel. the food was excellent. the service exceptional. we arrived late and the hotel called today that we were coming. we sat immediately and the waitress gave the necessary translation to our French challenged. group she recommended a wee who was paired with our dinner. it was a wonderful experience for our entire group.
