V Lounge Beach - Roma

The whole setting is a notch over the competitors: nice entrance and reception, restaurant setting on the terrace is nice, and nice is the view. Food is excellent in general (we visited several times), well balanced and somehow innovative. Modest wine list probably a bit below the expectations, but not too disappointing. We were 4 people ordering each one single dish. We waited far too long for everything : too long to get the menu, too long to get the dish ordered and too long for a simple desert (ice cream)... Some people sitting next to us came half an hour later and were served before us. Furthermore the waitress was really unpleasant. A disappointing service. We waited so long for the ice cream that we decided to cancel it. Seemed to be not a big deal for the crew of the restaurant who did not seem much affected by it. Maybe even amused ?

It was the second Easter day when we came to V Lounge for lunch. Nicely located and decorated. The chaiselongues in front of the restaurant make the most of it. An elegant beach restaurant with attention to details. It was pretty crowded, we didn't have a reservation, therefore we had to wait around 10'-15' to get seated. The menu was a special Easter menu with few, but tempting choices. I went for the sea food platter, which had no side dish and there was no Menu a la carte available. This was a bit disappointing. The deserts list was beyond the expected. This is definitely a good choice for a week-end or during summer time.

L'anno scorso siamo stati invitati per una festa di compleanno di una nostra carissima amica. Premetto che non conoscevamo il posto e sin da subito ci siamo innamorati e abbiamo deciso di fare la nostra festa di matrimonio in questa location meravigliosa. Inizialmente siccome era fine Giugno 2023 era tutto organizzato per fare nella terrazza che è meravigliosa ma il tempo non ci ha aiutato, Simona l'organizzatrice una persona stupenda e super professionale ci ha fatto una sorpresa e anche se c'era previsione di pioggia l'aperitivo di benvenuto ci ha fatto fare in terrazza per poi scendere per la festa. Infine ci ha coccolati fino alla fine ed è stata una festa indimenticabile. Complimenti a lei e tutto il suo staff.

Posto incantevole, il sig. Fabio del ristorante è disponibile, competente ed attento al cliente , molto professionale….. cibo e menu’ ottimo …. Mille grazie davvero
