Trattoria Guerra - Roma

I came often here for pranzo, you pay 5€ and will get water, red wine, fresh pasta, a piece of cake and caffé. The staff is always really friendly. I love this place!

A trattoria for those of us who hate to choose from a menu. Here there is no choice but instead the diner is ushered a generous, fragrant pasta dish, the same delicious plate for everyone. The pasta is homemade and hails from the Via Della Croce pasta store (same owners) where tourists eat a plate standing. I've eaten here several times as I live up the street and the quality has always been excellent. Astonishingly, lunch costs 5 euros, including wine, including a slice of cake and including an espresso. Ambience is bistrot style and the dining area still has the original floor tiles typical of this pre-war neighbourhood.

Place was empty when we came but suddenly many locals came to the restaurant for dinner. We had a set menu, wine included. We were served by the owner Massimilliano, he had a good sence of humor too. Everything was great. Good food and good wine, nice place.

Small restaurant, vintage and romantic atmosphere, great food! I'll be back soon as it's 2 minutes walk from Tiburtina Bus Station.
