Ristotante Come Va? - Roma

This was literally 5 min walk from the amazing Starhotel Michaelangelo. We ate here twice and agree with other reviewers that the staff make you very welcome, especially Jason. They are busy but attentive. The food was good, the carbonara especially, pizzas also tasty. Reasonably priced considering its location, you can see St Peter’s. Good wine selection also reasonably priced for local wines which we can’t get back home, 23-35 euros. There are cheaper restaurants if you look for them but it was unseasonably hot and we were tired and we really had no complaints eating here. We also stopped for beers and other refreshments on the way back to the hotel before dinner!

The service was perfect! The young guy who works there was a delight to be around, made our last day in Vatican a night to remember even treated us with some homemade cookies on the house

Wonderful late night dinner after 9 pm at what feels like a neighborhood spot. Basic, all the hits menus, well prepared and inexpensive.

Some of the most industrious workers I 've seen anywhere. Were staying close and wanted a light bite. Came to Come Va? and had a great pasta meal. This place is neat, clean, and extremely well managed. The two young guys were busy constantly--cleaning, picking up, taking orders, smiling at the customers. I kept marveling at their attentiveness to the restaurant and its clients. After a great meal- I mentioned to them that they should tell their boss that one of the customers (me) said they were really hard workers. The guy smiled and said, My mother is my boss! Mama should be proud of her son!! Will eat here again on my next trip to Rome!
