Avoid this place! yes a wonderful time, laugh, eat reasonable. that's the con. in the payment they show them a bill, then they put each order into the cr cd payment machine as they leave. unless they see that they are totally demolished. our bill for...$160 australian for small pasta avg meal drinks. Eating that I had was just fine to gunsten and presentation. that was my first meal in rom and I was disappointed. the prizes were a bit high for the meal I got.

I came past my 18th birthday here and had an amazing experience. very friendly staff and fantastic cake! when they go here, they will not be disappointed!

We were told not to go to restaurants where there were staff outside looking to attract diners but we fell into tourist mode and decided to give the food a try. It is a nice place to eat in terms of ambience and friendliness and...the food was very good. Our meal was a tad at the expensive end but delivery and flavours justified this. If being ultra careful then take the food off the menu but we had a seafood pasta dish with a lovely sea bream on top and that probably added up a bit. Rome has hundreds of places to eat. We are glad that we chose Mamma Roma.
