Bidra med feedbackGreat spot for a casual but delicious meal. Cute little Italian restaurant with great staff and service. It gives off going to Nonnas/Nonnos on a Sunday afternoon vibe.
We go to Rome every year, and we have dined all over the city. This is one of our favorites! It's inexpensive, less for a couple for dinner, wine, and dessert (even after converting € to than most places in Cincinnati. And the food is fantastic. It's not at all pretentious or touristy, though on occasion we've seen them hosting a moderate sized tour group. Even then the service was great. The proprietario often serves you himself, and you can just see the affection he puts into every aspect of your dining experience. Hey, you can book a trendy place in Trastevere and stand in line for two hours and feel special because it's in the guidebooks and you're paying €100 a person, or you can come here with no line, no reservations needed most times, pay far less, and get far better food and service. If I lived in Rome year round, I wish!, and had more money than Croesus, I'd still dine here twice a week for dinner and twice more just for dessert. When you visit, have a conolo and a decaf espresso for dessert, and tell say hello to Marco for me!
We would like to recommend this family owned restaurant. Great authentic food and no fancy logos and marketing. Really good value for money. The carbonara is recommended and the guanciale was cooked perfectly. Highly recommended!
This restaurant was recommended by the hotel where we stayed. from the beginning, the managers approached with kindness and professionalism. rich and varied menu, with very honest prices and above all a quality sopraffina. the preparation of the dishes was impeccable. at the end of the dinner we had the opportunity to get to know the owners a little better and they are really delicious people in every respect. We found ourselves so well that we went back to dinner here even the last night of the holiday. Very recommended.
It was a good meal but nothing I would call great. We were looking for something that wowed us but it was just a good Italian meal.
