Bidra med feedbackUsed to be my favorite pizza place. I was quite deceived during this visit as the pizza have become sub standard, more complicated with a lot of cheese and even pesto for the Italia pizza which used to be so good. The positive aspects are that they now have gluten free options for all dishes and the tiramisù is so beautiful
If you are around the area don't think twice and go. Jealous of the neighbors that can go frequently.. Very good option, specially if you are allergic to gluten. The service is really good, they were really kind to us and helped us choose our dinner. Good quality pizzas and very good tiramisu!
Il Punto is one of the very few restaurants in Rome and, maybe, in Italy, that preserve traditional restaurant service. A ceremonial welcome (not an intruding attitude trying to sell you a cookie-cutter menu) from an experienced waiter wearing neck tie and an impecable white jacket starts your experience. No hurries.A bus boy, smartly uniformed, informs you about different kind of breads, butters and waters while setting up your table and announcing that the waiter will take care of you in no time. Then, the ritual begins, old style. First, you have a culinary discussion on “antipasto”or maybe you would rather go directly to “primo piatto“.Afterwards, you have a deliberation on what drink should pair your order.Full stop on ordering until you are done with antipasto or primo. The rite is observed for the following entrees, either be “secondo”, “dolce”, “digestivo, grappa o amaro” with infinite vocational patience Undecided on what to order? The owner will always be around monitoring the performance of your table readily available with suggestions from the menu or dishes born from experience. A must Finally, the best surprised. The kitchen is run by an authentic Italian chef. A rarity these days
Nothing of that! if you have a friend or you are celiac this place is for you, you can find a good variety of pizzas and appetizers. For the rest it's all fairly anonymous, nothing that makes you stay impressed with this place for anything in particular. All in the media, goodness, location, staff.
I 've been here a few times before pretty much everytime I 'm in Rome. The pizza and the fritti are just perfect, the service is attentive and friendly. Throw in a nice, not at all pretentious, atmosphere and you have yourself a great evening.
