Bidra med feedbackReally bad mistake going here. The item that drew me in was declared off the menu after I had started on the appetizer. I should have poured the wine back and drunk the vinegar, it was so poor. Some horribly badly behaved children (related to the owner, it seemed) failed to drown out the overloud Godfather-style music while a drunk old woman (their grandmother) sang along without any respect for other patrons. Luckily I turned off my hearing aids and escaped alive but overcharged. My worst ever experience in Rome in 20 years of visits.
Poor service. Ordered water 3 times before it came. Ordered lasagne roast potatoes, the lasagne was microwave reheated, slightly cold in the middle the roast potatoes never arrived. My friends ordered pizza and said they were nice! I feel like this was a great restaurant in the past!
We happened upon this place on our last night in Italy. It just looked fun and the decor is Italy on steroids (red and white checkered tablecloth, chianti bottle candles, all kinds of cool stuff hanging on the walls), which I just love! The food was really good and the house wine was great too. The fun part is that the staff will dance with you and in the basement was an amazing piano player. I didn't even know they had another room downstairs until I went to use the washroom. After dinner we went down there, grabbed a table and drank another bottle of wine. The piano player played lots of fun sing-a-long songs and we even passed the tambourine around the room. It was the perfect way for us to end our 2 week Italian adventure.
The restaurant is a hidden pirate cave or Alice in wonderRome.... crazy deco. Okay Italian food. Hood service
A cozy and small restaurant with great food and excellent service. The price is lower comparing other restaurants near center of Rome
