Nice gay bar near colloseum in the middle of romes gay street . From 10pm very crowded on the street with many queer people. Drinks also for take away on the street.

This place was on my list of go to places for breakfast for Rome. Our first visit was on 9 17 2023 after our tour of Domus Aurea. We walked here from Domus Aurea and it's right by the Colosseum. Inside and outside seating. Place was busy both times we came. We got here around 12:00 pm so a bit late for breakfast. Menus we were given had no breakfast items on it. But I asked and was given the menu for brunch which had a few items listed. Drinks were cappuccino for us both and I also got orange juice which turned out to be red grapefruit juice I think? I was fine though with my juice. To have some semblance of breakfast I had to order from the limited brunch menu. I ordered the goloso which was pancakes with fresh fruit-apple slices, kiwi, peach slices, and ?? It also came with plain yogurt with muesli. Butter and maple syrup. A lot of food. It was good but the pancakes were a lot thicker than what I'm used to having so the taste was a bit different for me. I ended up giving my husband the yogurt muesli as it was just too much food for me. He ordered the ham with melon slices and he raved about how good the melon was. A bit of back story. For years now we haven't been able to get sweet tasting melon back home. The melon cantaloupe just tastes bitter back home not like what we were able to get years ago. He gave me a taste of that melon and it was so, so great. Service was spot on and the place had a nice friendly atmosphere. Reasonable. Cost 39€ 41.69. We are able to walk back to our hotel from this place taking in the sights around us. The Colosseum, some ruins, locks on a fence. The second time we came here earlier at around 9:30 am on 9 20 2023. But again it's the same brunch menu or what's in the case. This time there are breakfast items pastries in the case that look really good. So today I ordered orange juice, cappuccino, and a filled cornetto. Think it was filled with apple maybe. It was delicious and this time I got orange juice! Maybe last time I ordered the grapefruit juice and just forgot I had?? Oh well. Both kinds of juice were tasty. Richard ordered breakfast from the brunch menu. It was called speciale-fried eggs, mushrooms, sausage, roasted potatoes, and toast. He was happy with his choice and said it was very good. Again good friendly spot on service and tasty food. Cost this visit 30€ 32.16. You can get lunch, dinner, snacks here too. Limited choices for breakfast. This time we caught a taxi to do some sightseeing. It was very easy to get a taxi from here.

A wonderful spot for breakfast. Central, friendly and unrushed with delicious breakfast and coffee. The waiters couldn't have been more friendly. Next time, we'll be there in the evening.

We came for lunch and Dominic was our sever and I must say he was wonderful. He gave us great advice about anything we had questions about. He made the entire experience wonderful. We enjoyed it so much we came back for lunch the following day. We also plan on attending one of their shows later in the week!
