Cactus - Roma

We ate from Cactus found by chance with the Fork. Nice place, pleasant and welcoming restaurant. Food really well prepared, menu perhaps with not so much choice but complete and varied. We ate well, very good wine and pleasant and kind service. I would have liked to have some extra desserts....but in Covid period I can understand the difficulty of being open only at lunch. I liked it and I recommend it. I'll be back... but I hope to dinner too soon!

On February 25, I was in Rome with my husband who, at work, had to go to the Court of Appeal. While I was expecting to have a coffee at Cactus and, seeing that it was also a restaurant, I decided to propose to my husband to stop for lunch. That was a great idea. Cactus offers delicious and young dishes. I was very well and I will definitely return.

Returned after a previous positive experience, I confirm the opinion absolutely positive: attentive service, very good dishes.

The restaurant is located near Piazzale Clodio, a few hundred meters from the Metro station in Cyprus. Our advice is to get there by 2 wheels or by public transport, but in the evening it is not too difficult to find parking in the immediate vicinity, or in the parking lot of the Piazzale, a hundred meters away. The room is small, but very pleasant, with a style that, for the colors, seems almost marinaresco, but sober. The furniture is adequate and excellent cleaning. The staff is friendly and friendly, very efficient, and the service is pleasant and with the right times. The kitchen is declared as contemporary, but in reality it is excellent revisits (not overturning traditional recipes, with particular regard to the choice of ingredients that make effective variations on the theme. However it is also possible, compatibly with the needs of service, to ask more traditional preparations, always that you do not claim (education and respect for those who work first of all the impossible or absurd ingredients. The dishes are very tasty, and the ingredients sought after in quality and freshness. The result is definitely great, and it impressed us very positively, going well beyond the idea that we were made to skin. Excellent idea of a dynamic menu, which often changes, even according to the availability of ingredients. We have been made clear that this commercial policy has been chosen to give particular attention to the quality of ingredients and availability. Bravi: better not set a strict menu with the risk of serving dishes of poor level. Exceptional sweets... But I would have had half a portion... ; The price quality ratio is more than good, but it becomes unbeatable taking advantage of discounts or coupons. Surely we feel we recommend it. We'll get you back soon.

Cosy restaurant a stone's throw from the Vatican. First tasty dishes, excellent and tender meats, excellent value for money and with 50% of the fork I paid practically nothing. Friendly and friendly staff. Recommended!
