Shell - Rogersville

I don’t know this young man’s name but he was the clerk behind the counter at about 10:50pm on September 7th 2023 I had been having a really bad day to top it off my card wasn’t working I sat outside for hours trying to figure it out finally I set my pride aside went in to put $1.07 off of an old prepaid card a little more then 75 cents of change in fuel in my car so I could try to make the long trip home (not from this area still had long ways till I got home) this young man did not make me feel any type of way or look down on me instead he related told me when he had a similar situation then eased my mind with a smile but the most amazing part was when I went to pump the second transaction for the change part of what I had it went over so I stopped it in a panic this young man came over the speaker told me he put five dollars on there for me told me to have a good night I burst into tears I wanted to go in thank you but you got busy but if you see this thank you for being so kind I can’t express how badly I needed that kindness at that moment in so many ways it’s sad that kind people like us are rare but keep being you also to the owners this kid deserves a raise!!! I will for sure be giving my business to this store anytime I pass through here

Usually very efficient but today the card reader didn't work and I had to go in to pay for my gas.

Service was terrible : the staff wouldn’t help us and made my family feel like an inconvenience when we walked up to the counter because one of three employees standing there stated they were trying to close a drawer. This is after I walked up to another register and the employee leaning against the counter completely ignored us. Go to the Cum Go next door.

Pumps may be slow at times but I’ve never had bad gas and that’s really important to someone who drives an older truck. The products that I need are always available at a good price. Also staff is always friendly, even in the early mornings when I’m the grumpiest

Young man that working morning of Jan 4th was rude and disrespectful
