Big Smoke Burger - Rocky View

Despite the appearance of a better quality burger than the other fast food restaurants, this burger is just as poor. The beef was low quality, the bun was OK, and most of the flavour came from the sauce. $13.80 for a burger that would be comparable to other fast food places that charge $6.

Visited big smoked burger for lunch, ordered the southern fried chicken burger and poutine. The burger was massive with like half a head of lettuce on it. The burger was good, the chicken was a little bland on its own but good with the sauces. The meal was too big though and I wasn’t able to have the burger and the side in one sitting. The poutines wasn’t bad, it just needed more salt. It was alright but not worth the restaurant prices.

We each ordered the combo burgers and each combo was listed as $9.99. Our bill was over 32.00. My wife ordered a bottle of water which was 2.40, and some gravy so the bill should have been 24ish. Turns out they charge a little extra for each item in the combo so the sign should say, Combo starting at 9.99 . Now about the food. Bland and no flavour for the burgers. Fries were way over-cooked with no flavour either. Onion rings were overcooked and really had hardly any flavour either. Gravy was pretty good. Overall, very poor on taste and quite overpriced for the quality.

It could be me but the portion seems smaller every year. Other then that if your looking for the best burger place in the mall this is your location. I find it awkward watching the staff make your meal. Hey at least they can do something nasty to it. Excellent eat!

One of the better burger places in town!! It was delicious and for sure will be back! It may be pricy but worth it
