George Martin The Original

Salmon was terribly dry to be frozen. Drinks were not brought until the meal was almost over. The waitress was lovely, but did not have any help on the tables, etc. they need to change the menu. It's been the same for over ten years.

George Martin is always great. Reliable delicious menu, beautiful service and a lively comfortable room.

We wanted to try this place. Recommended by some friends. In a Wednesday night with a reservation switched on and had to wait 10 minutes until a table is open. The staff seemed confused, indifferent and unsurpassed. After sitting we waited approx. 10 minutes to order our drinks then another 10-15 minutes to get our drinks. Then we ordered our appetizer wedge salad and 2 main dishes the Rock Steak and Steak Sandwich. Our drinks ran empty and the waitress was nowhere in sight. She didn't come back until our ducks were served. A runner brought out the wedge salad. The salad was terrible, it had crumb that did not belong on a wedge. The whole food was terrible. Steak sandwich looked like it came from a subway restaurant on swollen pastries like white Italian bread with 1 thin slices of roasted beef style meat not steak. It was actually swirled to enlarge it, but it was a sad meager sandwich. I sent it back, it was disgusting and $28. My wife had the rock steak, which was very chewing and was withdrawn from a garlic marina. Very high quality meat. The place had the mood of a chain restaurant (which is technical, lol) like an outback, but this was actually worse. Your menu also has 2 prices for each dish a price for cash and the other price about 4% higher for debit/credit card purchases. For me, every place where 2 prices are listed is low. How about a price in the middle? 2 prices reeks of despair and necessity for me. I won't be back to this restaurant. I have no idea how anyone would ever go here twice.

The noise level was ridiculous on a Friday night. Impossible to converse, if that is your interest. I always find it so disappointing to see how few vegetarian options there are. It seems like something is thrown into the specials, almost as an after thought. I always end up with a salad. Other, carnivores, were satisfied with their meals. I was told that it was possible to order something special-vegetarian- but not on a Friday or Saturday night. Be aware.

We were there to celebrate a family member's birthday and the evening was just perfect, John, our waiter, was wonderful and we couldn't have asked for a better evening. Thank you,
