Glenwood's (formerly Stanford Grill Rockville)

I went to Glenwood's in Rockville for lunch on 7/4/24 and I was extremely disappointed in the quality of food served. We ordered a filet medium rare and we got the steak that was well done. We waited for a someone to pickup the overdone steak. The server said he knew the steak was overdone and he was told to serve it to us anyway. Then the manager who delivered the new steak, didn't seem to care that the steak was overdone. Finally, the au jus for the prime rib sandwich was extremely salty, almost like bouillon. I asked our waiter about it and he said that is the way they make it now.

I have been going to Stanford grill (Glenwood's grill now) in the last 20 years very happy with the service and food My favorite dish is filet and ribs the rockville location is the only place that cook your steak perfectly at least they used to do it. On Tuesday last , my friend and I had dinner, at rockville location to our surprise, filet was cold and not the same quality as before. may be a new chief or a new management .

We were her for our wedding celebration with a large party and came a little bit early. They readily acomodated us! The food was very good, and the prices were great. I would recommend any party or celebration to be held here!

Excellent food and service. We had ahi tuna salad, crab cake salad, steak salad, and Caesar salad with shrimp. All were well prepared and delicious. Service was attentive and really outstanding. Very enjoyable! Only downside was the annoying parking indoor lot on 3rd floor for a ground level restaurant.

My wife and I enjoyed a nice Saturday evening dinner at Glenwood's. The food was excellent. My wife enjoyed the crab cakes while I had the bronzino special. Paired with a nice bottle of wine, it was very tasty. The service was average. Otherwise, it was a very enjoyable evening.
