Fontina Grille - Rockville

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Fontina Grille with my family, and I can't praise it enough. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with warm smiles and a genuinely friendly atmosphere. The staff was incredibly accommodating to our large group (12 guests), making sure we were comfortably seated and well-attended throughout our meal. The menu offers a delightful array of classic Italian dishes, each prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. We especially loved the pasta dishes and the wood-fired pizzas, which were absolutely delicious. The children's menu was a hit with the little ones, and the waitstaff were great with kids, providing coloring menus and crayons to keep them entertained. Overall, Great Italian Cousins is a fantastic choice for family-friendly dining. Whether you're there for a special occasion or just a casual meal, you can expect excellent food, top-notch service, and a welcoming environment that makes everyone feel at home. Highly recommended for families and large groups!

The service and food were very good! The staff were friendly and our server was very attentive and good. The atmosphere is cozy, although at times the bar noise (game on) carried into the dining room, it is still moderate in sound and we were able to have conversations at our table easily. The tables are small for a party of four. We enjoyed our time and meal and will return again. I would recommend this restaurant for Italian cuisine.

The service is great. The timing of each course is perfect. You never feel rushed. The servers seem to be able to anticipate when you are ready to order seamlessly. I brought friends who have never been there tonight and they were very impressed and said they will be neck. Highly recommend. Oh, and the food is good too. :

I eat out in NYC all the time and had terrific service (and food)! With a smile, courtesy and attentiveness. Restaurant should be very proud of the young man who served us! Visiting for a tourney but coming back one more time!

The food was delicious, as usual. It was Father's Day and the restaurant was very crowded and very noisy (much louder than when I had dinner there on a Monday night a few weeks earlier). The service was very good.
