All the previous employees have been replaced, indicating new management. Therefore, I am providing a new review based on my latest experience. The quality of the food, prices, and customer service remain exceptional. I am delighted that my favorite sushi restaurant is back to its former glory. They truly deliver on what they promise, and I am willing to pay a little extra for such outstanding dining and service.
I would spend a week here easily when I was working at the center and eating here daily. then took new owners and the service is appalling, they will not prepare dings on the menu for them if it is not in the train. the old owners used to have the outstanding customer service, which is why I would be there every day. I refuse to step the foot back to the place. after many times treated rudely.
During a recent visit to Rockhampton to spend the holidays with family, we decided to grab a bite to eat after a busy morning of shopping. We stumbled upon a quiet sushi train and being sushi lovers, we thought it would be a good choice. However, we were disappointed with the quality of the sushi. The rice was not seasoned properly and lacked flavor, unlike the sushi we usually enjoy on the Gold or Tweed Coast. Although the train was well stocked, there is definitely room for improvement in terms of taste and variety. Additionally, we were surprised to find out that the restaurant only accepted payment via card and did not offer any soup upon arrival. The lack of condiments like wasabi mayo also left us wanting more. The service was lackluster and we did not receive the usual warm Japanese hospitality we are accustomed to. Overall, our experience at this restaurant was a disappointment.
Very friendly staff and delicious sushi. There's so much variety but it is a bit pricey. It's also a shame they don't have eftpos facilities
