Bidra med feedbackGo to any other place in the area.i wouldn't take the time to write this review if the food wasn't as bad as it was. just tasted like reheated frozen food or something. my veggie pad thai didn't even have veggies in it. you could taste the pan in the fried rice.
Fantastic tasty Yum Cha, sushi, curries, noodles and other Asian food in the heart of the city. Dine in or takeaway! Recommend highly! Hospitality perfect. I was in a wheelchair and they could not of done anymore to ensure I had a seat available to my liking and was comfortable! Thanks
We were looking for a place to have a satisfying meal late in the afternoon, and we stumbled upon this hidden gem. Accompanied by my elderly mother and aunt, who prefer more traditional fare, we were pleased to find a menu offering a variety of Asian dishes. This can sometimes be a challenge, but all the dishes we ordered were executed perfectly and offered good value in terms of portion size and price. I particularly enjoyed the pork/chicken adobo, which I found to be one of the best renditions of this dish I have ever had, whether in the Philippines or during my 25 years of experience with Filipino cuisine. As an added bonus, I took some sushi back to the hotel for a late-night snack, and it was of excellent quality and very tasty. The service was relaxed and laid-back, but that's just the nature of the Filipino people.
The Pad Thai at this restaurant is not authentic, more like a stir-fry. The chilli chicken cashew lacks actual chilli. Despite the use of tinned vegetables, the food is served quickly, is hot, and reasonably priced. It is decent for a quick lunch option.
I recently had lunch with some friends in Rockhampton and unfortunately, I was not impressed with the service at the restaurant. The buffet style option only offered one size plate, and if you wanted something smaller, you had to use take away containers. Plus, you could only go through the buffet line once and there weren't many options available. The menu had plenty of choices, but most of the vegetables seemed to come from cans and the food lacked flavor. We had to repeatedly ask for water, our drinks were forgotten, and some of our food never arrived. Overall, I was disappointed with the service, food quality, and value for money. Paying $5.80 for small pieces of sushi felt like a rip-off. I have serious doubts about the longevity of this restaurant and would not recommend supporting it.
