Firehouse Subs State Street - Rockford

My fiancée and I ate here for the first time and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. the sandwiches were amazing. in any case a place where we go at regular intervals.

Some the best subs in town, sometimes it takes a while cuz they’re busy so i recommend ordering ahead online. always friendly and welcoming staff make you feel at home

Ordered through Doordash and my order was accurate! These subs are delicious.. the bread tastes like homemade and soft. Almost soft like Potbelly’s sub bread. I added banana peppers to both our subs and it paired well. The chili didn’t have too many beans just how I like it and was warm and tasty. The only thing about these juicy subs is that parts of the bread get soggy so if you don’t like sogginess and like a drier sub this might not be for your liking.. or eat it fast..
