Custard By The Dam - Rockford

First time trying either of these flavors and I'm mad I hadn't tried them sooner. What are they putting in the pothole to make it taste like this? It was like half brownie half fudge ice cream. Seriously might be my new favorite flavor. The toffee was also very good. Sweet, buttery, and a bit of caramel. Really cute spot! Not anywhere to eat inside which is unfortunate but it's next to a beautiful outdoor park. Great place to visit during the summer and spring.

I was so pleased to find an ice cream shop with not only Dole Whip (vegan) but vegan soft serve as well! The cashier was knowledgeable about their allergy offerings. Will certainly be coming back!

We brought my grand nieces for a treat. It was definitely a yummy treat. It has custard and so many dairy free selections which I need for my needs. I got the mango diary free and it was so refreshing and was a great end to summer. My nieces got watermelon and they were very happy

My grand daughter asked for dipped ice cream and the worker said we don't have that when it was clearly on the menu. Rude staff. Do better especially when serving children!

Fours kids working with no training. I was in line and they let 4 of their friends just step right up and cut the line to order first. I then tried using an old 100 bill. The manager (a kid) and another kid pulled a new 100 from the register and told me mine didn't match or have a blue line therefore it was fake and they couldn't take it. I asked them to use a marker on it and they didn't have one. Infront of a store of about 12 ppl the kids kept telling me the 100 bill was a different color. Unbelievable.. After arguing for a second I left. Train your employees or at the least get a marker. Won't spend another here or Dam Dogs (manager and employees were working both places)
