China 1 - Rockford

Yummy food, fast takeout, stellar service! I was aware of the other reviews related to price differences, but when I went in, I saw that they handed out new menus with real prices. I was calculated on the basis of the new menu prices and had no price problems. The young man who took my order was kind and patient and checked my order before he told me it was ready in 15 minutes. I came back 15 minutes later and my food was ready to go on time. The lady who called me was so friendly and welcoming (she reminded me of my own mother) and she made sure that the food corresponded to her entrance before I paid. The fried dumplings, chicken rolls and crabs rangoons were all super delicious! Sesame chicken with rice was also good and a surprisingly large part! We will definitely be back!

First order and it was delicious! Portions were more than generous, hot and fresh. She asked if we could pay in cash, but considering that credit cards can be charged per swaps, it didn't surprise me for a small company to ask for cash. I guess they charge a percentage for CC payments. As far as costs are concerned, I saw her type in everything and it was right, nothing extraordinary, as some comments suggest. Not sure if my norm or is abnormal. Will definitely come back!

Eating is really good and everyone I treated is kind. My husband and I like to sneak for a quick bite without the kids once in a while and this has become one of our favorites in Rockford. You don't have the buffet now, but that's good.

I called last night. Price for two combo plates was exactly what is printed on their menu and it was enough that each of us to eat two meals. Chicken was tender, large pieces and rice and egg rolls had great taste. Fortunately, the “price-going” reviews were wrong!

Food 's mostly tasted great these past few years after a dozen or two visits! Don 't order off the specialty menu, it seems like prepackaged because it 's way worse than the rest of the menu. Too many reviews complain about price gouging as if currency inflation didn 't exist.
