Bidra med feedbackI absolutely adore Austen's of Rochester. This locally owned gem is like a farm shop and green grocers, offering fresh produce directly from local farms. The vegan selection is expanding, with top-quality products like Vigo Mayo and A Little Bit dips, as well as eco-friendly dog grooming products from Pup Suds. They also have a great range of Italian sauces, tinned beans, pulses, artisan breads, and locally made cheeses. The eggs, fruit, and vegetables are all sourced locally, many of them organic. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the owners are hands-on, ensuring high quality in everything they offer. You can even have a fresh fruit and veg box delivered to your door. I highly recommend Austen's of Rochester for anyone looking for top-notch, locally sourced food at reasonable prices!
We are very fortunate to have a green grocer like this on our high street. They offer top quality organic fruits and vegetables at more than reasonable prices.
I enjoy visiting this place for delicious breads and perfectly ripe avocados. It's not a place for everyday shopping; more of a local greengrocer with higher prices similar to Wholefoods (e.g. £1.40 for a single courgette).
I love this place full of stops! live in a small town like rochester when a new business opens that is exactly what they have missed, praying well! austen’s of rochester is like a local food store that is sold directly by the local farms. I have never been dissatisfied and they continue to expand their lines. also I am glad to say that I am far from the only person who feels like loading is a great success in our small town. the vegan series expands here including award-winning vigo mayo and dip brand “A little Bit” and now sells a series of dog shampoo and care products called “Pup Suds” (especially in Vogue magazine) that are made before spot, vegan, cruelty free and 100% natural. they store many Italian pasta sauces and tinted beans and impulses that are suitable for vegans. the handcrafted brote are incredible. for vegetarian - the locally produced cheeses are also great (I had them when I was vegetarian). I have a very fussy vegetarian French friend who was really shocked how good the cheese is here and he is really fussy about his piousness. also the locally produced eggs are large and there are photos to see how the chickens (living in the Kent wood) are treated (the load owners met all the farmers with whom they work to check the conditions of the animals). when I was vegetarian, that was the only place I would buy. the fruit and the veg are all local farms, many of the products are organic, the fruit juices are natural and also locally produced. they have begun to sell some large oils, tinted organic beans, kicherbsen and glasses of local honey and pesto etc. the staff is very friendly and helpful. as a small business also work here the owners of the shop and I think that really makes the difference, as they are passionate about the quality of the food they sell. for busy people who cannot fall into the load, they can buy a fresh fruit and vegetables box that will deliver to their door outside. they can order them online or in the shop. in principle, I can't recommend it enough and the prices are also not so bad! updated from the previous review on 2018-03-28
Very happy, a green food on the road like this. high quality organic fruit and veg. I would say it is more than quite expensive.
