Wayback Burgers - Rochester Hills

The meal was EXACTLY what we were looking for. A great fresh burger with a side of crisp frits! We also had the mint oreo and Oreo sluts that were fantastic. An additional bonus was on Sunday when you buy a signature burger you buy the second free. Can't wait to go back!

Great place to go when you're looking for a burger but want to eat something better than typical fast food. 6 bucks will get you a double with your choice of toppings, including different types of cheese and some things like jalapenos and mushrooms that you might not find at a more basic burger joint. No complaints about staff or cleanliness here, and a 10 minute wait for this kind of food is very reasonable.

For my first visit to Wayback, I had a great dining experience. The seating area was comfortable, and it wasn't crowded during the lunch hour, which gave me plenty of space to enjoy my meal.

The food here is consistently fresh and delicious. Since I don’t eat red meat, I always stick to the fried chicken sandwich, which I love. I did have one not-so-great experience, but that was likely due to a new staff member. They handled my issue well and offered me a solution, which I appreciated. However, the staff has been changing too frequently for my liking. There was a time when my daughter and I would walk in, and everyone knew exactly what we wanted and how we liked it prepared. I really miss that sense of familiarity; it made us feel like part of a family. On the bright side, the staff is always super friendly, so I have no complaints there.

I've dined here several times, and I must say they have the best bread of any fast-food or fast-casual restaurant I've been to! The service is always excellent, and their milkshakes are fantastic. If you haven't tried Wayback yet, you should definitely check it out!
