The food and drink options are good. Ambience and setting are beautiful. Service and execution need some work. I have been here numerous times and service is always frazzled. It seems that as a hotel restaurant they aren't interested in maintaining a local clientele as hotel guests will be a captive audience. This time food/drinks took a long time. Appetizer was cold. Main course ingredients didn't match what was described in the menu. Server was nice and polite but didn't provide the type of service you should get at these price levels. I may go back to have a drink on the patio but I think I have given up considering Park 600 as a dinner option.
Had 7:15 reservation, arrived 5 minutes earlier and weren't seated for 25 minutes. No wait staff for another 10 minutes. Saw waiter sporadically and slow kitchen service times. Not sure if we ever return to Park 600.
Our waitress was just ok, she was trying to be good? But the food was the main issue that she doesn’t really have control over. Our appetizer came 30 minutes after we ordered it and had to ask multiple times for it. Our food came after a very long time And all of the salads had no dressing. We were there for a birthday, but no one asked or did anything special. I ad mentioned that we were celebrating a birthday when I booked the table. Basically overall, it was a disappointment in the service and food for type of a restaurant.
Where to start… Reservations got you towards the top of a 45 minute wait list. We didn’t get a drink menu until the waiter came to take the order. The drink I ordered was the Blood Orange Crush Martini. No blood orange. Just regular orange. The $26 charcuterie board was an absolute joke. There were a total of 4 pieces of meat and 4 pieces of cheese. More bread than anything else. Not impressed. The meal came out an hour and a half after ordering it. I ordered the chef’s special- Chilean Sea Bass. The fish was a much smaller portion than was described- for $56. It was delicious, just not as described. Disappointed. Actually, all the food we had was delicious, but an utter disappointment in everything else. I don’t think we’ll return.
