Rochester Brunch House

We went here for a friend's birthday brunch. The food was fantastic! Wonderful cocktails! Our server was amazing! Ambience was lovely! Dress code is up for interpretation. When we were there, there were people in dresses and collared shirts but also track suits and sneakers.

Service can be hit or miss here and they don’t tell you that gratuity is already added to your bill. There’s usually a wait and if your whole group isn’t present they will not seat you even if it’s your turn in the wait list. But the food is really good which is why there’s a wait because it’s so popular. They have lattes here! And I can’t recommend enough that if you go here to get pancakes, any kind! I’ve had the blueberry lemon poppyseed and cinnamon roll, I wanna try them all!

Love the food here at Rochester Brunch House! Usually my friend and I order breakfast items, but decided to order lunch this past visit. I got a wrap with a side of fries and she got an avocado burger with onion rings. Here begins the trouble. Her avocado burger arrived with no avocado on it. They ended up bringing it to her on the side. We also each asked for a side of ranch. At most places, you are warned if there is an up charge for a side of ranch, and the up charge is typically no more than 65 or 75 cents, which is even on the higher end. We were not warned about any up charge, so image our surprise when we each got charged $2.00 for a tiny side of ranch dressing! That is a ridiculous price! It has us reconsidering ever returning to Rochester Brunch House.

This was our first time here for brunch. The omelets and the French toast were delicious. Great service friendly staff.

Food was delicious, waiter was fantastic however it took 40 minutes for food to come they did let us know the kitchen was behind when we ordered.
