Bidra med feedbackAbsolutely wonderful. It was our second time there. Food was so good. This time we went for desert and a drink. The fried ice cream Sunday was ridiculously good, but what really put the experience over the top was our server. She served us both times we went and was personable and kind. We will be back for sure and I would highly recommend it for dinner or dessert.
Absolutely best Mediterranean food I've had in Rochester! It's a great atmosphere and the staff is extremely kind. They have a great selection of drinks and cocktails, and the food is just amazing. I especially recommend the lamb and the baklava, they were to die for.Food: 5/5
Went with friends and four of us had their pasta seafood special (shrimp and scallops) scrumptious, cooked perfectly! Others had pork chop dinner and lamb chop dinner and were very pleased. Baklava with baklava ice cream was amazing! Joe was our server and was excellent. So glad our friends introduced us to Polizzi's. Other than very noisy later on, it's my number one Rochester restaurant for creative menu options and outstanding food and service. Also, including photos and bios of their complete staff on their website is a very nice touch.
Great food, service atmosphere IN THE RESTAURANT. We recommend reservations. The food was VERY good, with reasonable pricing. I had a full size Ceasars salad my guests had the 1/2 size Greco-Roman greek salad. I have photos for portion size. For the entres, I had a baked cod my guests had moussaka. Again, I shared photos and they were very good. We shared a desert sampler, which was amazing. The only down side is they are in the Village Gate building, which is a sketchy, risky neighborhood. Park your car under a camera and light. Or park in front of the police substation next to the chimmey with the Village Gate sign. This is a classy upscale venue at reasonable prices. Just be aware in the parking lot.
Great food, super service! A little noisy in the larger. I sat in a booth by the bar...perfect!Food: 5/5
