Bidra med feedbackThis is an amazing restaurant. We went there for lunch and order 4 diferent dishes to try and EVERYTHING tasted delicious, fresh and perfectly cooked. We had the avocado toast, chickpea crepe, bagel lox and the royale with cheese. Also tried their community coffee and loved it!!. The environment is cozy, a little loud but fun. The service was outstanding, the staff was friendly except our waiter brought the check to us without asking if we were ready for it (we weren't, i wanted another drink). Also there was no dessert menu and that's why the lost one star.
Some of the best food I’ve had in a long time! The menu was super unique, and everything we ordered was delicious. I loved the roasted garlic and beef tartare to start us off and the cocktails are hand crafted and fun! The wait staff was super kind and really knowledgeable about the food and experience they were serving. The location is interesting and the decor is really fun, but the lack of AC is a real bummer, especially on a really hot day. The muscles were the highlight of the meal for me, perfectly prepared. Definitely recommend ? ?
Hostess was friendly, welcoming, and accommodating to our special needs. Wait staff was also friendly, informative, but slow. All four meals were creative, well-prepared, and attractively presented. we’re all stand-outs. The charcuterie board was underwhelming. Bread had to be requested. Pricing was fair.
Thursday evening, we went out to early dinner, 5:30. We had reservations but I am not sure it was necessary that early. Most of the tables around us were empty. The waitress was friendly and efficient. Cure has a nice cocktail menu, I ordered a Negroni. Never had one but I read about it in a book. Delicious. A great summertime, high time drink. We shared our dinner order. We started with Beef Tartar. Overall, it was good. It came with an egg on top, a spoon of mustard, some toast and capers on the side. I think I would have liked the capers in the meat with some Worcestershire sauce and double ground the beef. On the other hand, if I return, I will order it again. The Coq au Vin was made in heaven. The chicken was perfectly braised with a crispy skin. I wanted to swim in the pan gravy but settled for dipping bread into it. Great dinner. We both enjoyed it.
The menu is very limited, but we were each able to find something of interest. I had the steak frites and my wife had the beef bourgogne, The steak was more like an expensive London broil but was cooked well. The frites would have been beaten out by Wendy's. The bougogne was quite unusual. Typically you cut the meat into cubes and cook it with the wine. Here it was a single piece of meat that looked the size of a typical hanger steak, but was about 1/3 fat. Noodles were very good, but overall still pretty mediocre. The wine was badly overpriced. We will not be going back.
