Good Luck - Rochester

This was our first night since the beginning of covid, and our server luis made it a wonderful experience. he was extremely attentive, polite and friendly and was also very informative about eating, drinks and the whole menu. he gave great details at the description of each item and also made some great suggestions. each worker wore a mask that felt more comfortable when sitting and eating. the food and the drinks were great as usual, but luis made sure our night. thanks again for the amazing customer service!

Our server Luis was phenomenal. He was attentive, well spoken, clear to understand. He never left us waiting for cocktails. Much appreciated!!! Will definitely request him by name the next time we go. Two things to note: the gnocchi was amazing flavor-wise but needs way more puree. Also reserved seating at the bar is a solid no. It should be first come first serve.

So, I'd never been there before so I reviewed the menu ahead of time. It seemed kind of pricey. After seated, the waitress explained to my friends and me that most dishes were meant to be shared ... which explained why the burger was $30 ... when it arrived it, it was huge and cut into quarters and was accompanied by a mountain of delicious fries. I think they should mention the sharing thing on the menu ... but then again it was a Wednesday night and the place was packed, so they are doing something right. The ambience and service were great. The burger was good. It had a very peppery flavor. I love pepper but I think it needed some garlic seasoning, some raw onion, and ketchup on the table. Anyway, I really enjoyed the place and can't wait to take my honey there.

I'm not rusty, but I've heard of good luck from friends, so it was serendipitous that I stumbled over it. my daughter and I left rustester looking for a place to eat after a day, enjoying the muses when a wrong turn brought us into the house. we dinate a lot and I have experienced the less than hospitable attitude to a 2 top with a child low check cut / low tip. that was not the case. we were warmly welcomed by the hostesses and although the restaurant was busy and apparently full, they could quickly get us a table. the restaurant itself is beautiful and spacious. as I said, it was quite busy and a great ambiente was created by the crowd of guests and employees busy at work. our server alyssa p. was a jewel. I felt that she gave us the same attention and service she would give for a big table. she went masterfully through the menu choices and helped me select a cocktail. my daughter is 7 and had a shirley tempel and is likely to be pampered for living with her use of luxardo kirschen, probably the best shirley tempel her and I have ever tasted. I had the “Becky’s favorite Sweater”, wonderful concoction, completely different from the norm. If we were with more people, I would have liked to try more from the menu, but since it was only the two of us, we shared the burger. while we waited for our burger, another server kerzen and flowers gave to the tables for evening service. this man made my daughter at night by drawing flowers from another empty table she admired us. a so nice gesture and a great staff. the burger is fantastic, interchangeable and a middle piece to each table. the fries were hot, crisp, well seasoned and delicious. my daughter loved everything and we flew over the last French pommes! we did not have space for dessert, but we will definitely be back! Many thanks to an alyssa and all the others who made our little father/daughter date special and unforgettable.
