Chick’n Out - Rochester

Best chicken in Rochester! Service is always quick and presentation on point. Adam is a great dude. I fix all his kitchen equipment so I have first hand knowledge, the kitchen is immaculate. They take great pride in sanitation. Might be the cleanest kitchen in Rochester. Love this place!

Meh Went here based off a friends recommendation. Went inside to order and lady at counter said that she wasn't taking orders, I would have to order online. I said okay and asked her wait time, she said 30min. for this take out only meal. I ordered than after 40min I went back inside, as I still had not received a txt saying order was ready figuring something maybe was wrong. Lady checked my order and said would be another 10 15min. I waited inside and about 10min later my order came out. My wife got 3pc tenders and I got Heater Sandwich. We ate immediatly in the car, and all the chicken was barely even warm...seriously after a 50min wait!?! Fries were the only thing fresh. Sandwich was okayish, but I really question the tenders...to me they were too tough to be tenders and the way the grain of the meat was, I am 99% certain it was chicken breast just cut into strips and battered...not actually tenders. Tough and cold chicken...not super desireable. I have gone many times to The Magnet Chicken in Penfield and will continue to go there for a proper Fried Chicken Sandwich vs ever going back to Chick'n Out. My first n Last visit! Not worth the in my books.edit: It does speak volume's that the owner responded...shows that they take feedback and will probably improve their svc as a result. The sting still exists that I waited 50min for food and last 10min was right in their lobby...to be served barely warm chicken. Adam I will try once more, next time I am in need of a meal downtown.

The Heater is easily the best fried chicken sandwich in Rochester . And their fries are awesome! Food is always ready when I expect it, and always delicious. Worth the wait for the days they are open. Only downside is they're so close to where I live it's hard to resist ordering every single day. I wanted to add an update: I experienced some of the best customer service of my life from Chick'n Out Last Night. I won't go into full details but just know that after a long day, whoever was working the counter at 7:45/8pm-ish last night made my really bad day much better. I cried in my car I was so grateful and have been screaming the praises of Chick'n Out to anyone who will listen to me today.

The food here is always hot and absolutely delicious and they’ve got their pick-up system on point. The folks behind the counter are always attentive and fast. From the tenders, to their mac n cheese, mashed potatoes, all the sauces, the fish fry’s, allll of it is always amazing!
