Bidra med feedbackCuccaro is a really welcoming place with excellent dining in a wonderful location nestled in the Ligurian hills. The menu is very wide ranging, and it was difficult to decide what to have. In the end, we settled for ravioli (my son said it was the best he had ever eaten, gnocchi with pesto, tagliatelle with sausage meat and aubergine and pork fillets with oven cooked potatoes. All were superb. We were too full for deserts but they looked fabulous. There is also very good wine by the carafe. Before or after lunch, you can take a walk in the surrounding countryside or have a dip in one of the pools at a very reasonable price. There is also a comfortable bar where you can purchase local produce (olive oil, honey, chestnut flour etc. Highly recommended

1. We arrived very late in the evening; our cell phone died, we were almost out of gas, and the road up the mountain almost landed us down the mountainside. However, after all the drama getting there we were pleasantly surprised by their hospitality, warmth, delicious three course meal, and beautiful property. 2. All the food was made from scratch and we were made to feel at home from the moment we walked through the door. 3. The indoor pool was warm and excellent for an early afternoon swim. 4. The breakfast was delicate, delicious, and we were able to look out onto the property watching the animals, specifically their bushy dog, trotting from end to end. 5. Before you take the road up the mountain be sure to have either a map, detailed directions, or great cell service. By the grace of God we found it. 6. One of the showers had a light indicator showing cold, warm and hot water. It was pretty cool. 7. There is no a c so if traveling in the summer months might want to bring a fan or personal a c. 8. This place is HUGE and must be great when the dance club is open. We plan to return with our extended family for a long relaxing trip. I personally dream of going back and working on some of my plays half written scripts. It felt like the perfect place to escape the craziness of life and just focus on me, nature, and the GREAT FOOD they prepare. Did I mention the food? Like OMG.
You are recommade the plancha de charcuterie et cheese en apperitif, a traditional cuisine, there are 2 services, frankly 1 service is enough.
We had the pleasure of having lunch here and it was excellent quality, especially for the price. 15 minutes from the A12 and you arrive where you will find fresh air, nice views, and a welcoming staff. Our food was delicious and really a hidden gem to visit and also you can stay there overnight as well. We are looking at going back.
