Huddle House - Robins Air Force Base

Thanks for inspiring my friend!! Went to this HH yesterday (a Friday morning) for late bfast with a friend because this is her favorite morning restaurant. She said the cook is great and cook servers are really nice. And while we were eating we both couldn’t help but notice her heart was also warmed by the many older couples dining at tables around , filling most of the restaurant. We were both surprised to see how busy they were, but with the comradery chat among patrons, i am sure mealtimes were lengthened in such a group that tends to savor coffee times, though there was still a steady flow of people in and out the door. So I recommend going here with a little patience, but be ready for tasty food served in accordance with your special requests (crispy bacon hashbrowns), at a good price and accompanied by numerous smiles.

Walked in to pick up my online order and was never acknowledged for at least 5 minutes. The cook and at least 7 other staff were behind the counter talking, and 1 or 2 occasionally came from behind the counter to hand a drink or something to a diner. After a few more minutes of waiting, some of the diners started to take notice of the lack of service and stare at the employees behind the counter.. I saw a server who had walked by me several times and had not said and finally stopped her to ask about my order. She asked my name and called back to the manager about my order. The manager asked that same server for the name I had just told her. The server paused for a minute and then looked back at me to ask for my name again. I told her never mind and answered the manager myself.Turns out my order was on the counter near the talking employees the whole time. My food was handed to me and as I left, I heard an employee say, Have a nice day ma 'am . I just shook my head and left. I 'm not sure I will go back to that Huddle House. The food also looked as if it was quickly tossed in the box. Disappointing, they were not all that busy. From what I can tell when driving by, they hardly are.

Forgive me for taking so long to review my experience and for forgetting my exact order however, the overall experience is what I’m reminded of… I rated this particular experience 3 stars because my takeout order was beyond my expectations. My egg omelette was not fluffy nor did it look like an omelette. It was more like a flat-fried egg folded over ingredients!!! I’ve had much better!!!! It’s as if the cook was not well and was not happy about being there! Broke my heart!!!! My husband introduced me to Huddle House before we married and upon my arrival to GA. I was instantly amazed at their Waffle House Type setting but with a much larger variety of selections! We’ve traveled great distances to get to a 24 hour HH because their food quantity, presentation, flavor, and service has always delivered however on this day… HH broke my heart! Will I return…. Yeah! Just not to this particular location… I suspect African Americans no matter your service to the Kingdom of Heaven is not welcomed there!

Worked here before and eaten here obviously , lazy, terrible employees. Never acknowledge customers and constantly sit on their phone, most of the people working here are related to the manager , so don’t expect anything to ever get better because it won’t . Don’t go here in the afternoons if you actually want good service .

We went with our family of 5. When we sat down, no one came for about 5 mins to give us menus. Or ask us for drinks. Then when we got our food, they had messed up an order so they fixed it but the fries were cold, probably from it sitting while they fixed the mistake. The server didn't ask or attempted to make sure our drinks were full.That is how I determine effort. If nothing else and were waiting or even if the food isn't on par, at least make sure drinks stay full.This location wasn't that great of an experience. So far best experience was the location in Milledgeville when it was a holiday and it was busy and only one cook and one server.Today this location wasn't even busy at all. It was between rush hours when we went.Poor service.
