We spent a week in Robe and tried a few of its restaurants. 'Gather' was by far the finest in every way. The quality of the food was superb and the presentation original. The entrées we tried (lobster for me and kangaroo for my husband) were excellent. My main was a local fish with very interesting sauce and fried capers, my husband had the local duck served with native berries and fresh figs. A delight.

This restaurant is just wonderful and one of the best meals we had in our 3 week visit to Australia. There was no problem or fuss when I asked for gluten free for the Tasting Menu which was out of this world. The staff are a great asset to the restaurant. Thank you for a really lovely evening

A pity that the Restarant is only open for a limited period. We were lucky to be there on a day it was open and 'Tom', the Chef produced a magnificent meal. Quite extraordinary utilising mainly local produce provided a meal of exquisite taste sensation.Wines were mainly local and also quite complemented the food.
