Mila De Mar The Beach House - Roatan

Delicious food, excellent service, beautiful setting. Everything was exceptional. They even obtained the special beverage we requested. Truly a delightful experience.

Fried red snapper was juicy and sweet, succulent flavor. The guacamole with fried plantain and yuca tasted fresh and light. The watermelon Agua Fresca tasted like you were eating a fresh piece of watermelon. It was sweet but not sugary. Every bite of everything tried was lovely. The service was very attentive but not intrusive. The water view from the dining table and the modern interiors beautiful.

This restaurant needs to move to the forefront of fine dining destinations in Roatan. The food is outstanding, with the best ceviche we had on an island rich with ceviche choices. The menu is eclectic and delicious, and the setting is absolutely stunning, occupying much of the second floor of West End's finest hotel, The Beach House, with open, unobstructed views of Half Moon Bay and, at least for half or more of the year, the sun setting into the Caribbean Sea. The ocean laps at the shore RIGHT BELOW the restaurant balcony, so over dinner we were able to watch a stingray approach the shore in the crystal-clear water (we waited for nearby snorkelers to see him and shriek, but they never saw him! And the COCKTAILS!! Best piña colada of our Roatan trip, and amazing mojitos as well. HIGHLY recommended place, worth the trip from wherever you're staying. (Fancy West Bay resort patrons: It's just a water taxi ride away! DO IT!

We were very disappointed. the food was warmed, not a pleasant atmosphere. I expected it better.

Great location and great server. eat very reasonable and tastes good!
