The Local Saloon - Roanoke

It is so incredibly loud in this place. The food is very good, our server was good probably great but you could tell overwhelmed. The kitchen was very behind it took over an hour to get two loaded potatoes, and two hamburgers. We sat in the patio area in my opinion maybe the kitchen wouldn't have been so behind had the kitchen staff stayed in the kitchen instead of smoking all the time. We will try it one more time just to see if the noise levels are the same. If they are it will probably be the last for us.

We have driven by this place many times and were curious. We stopped on a Saturday night for dinner. We had a margarita at the bar. It was very small for the price and my 2nd one was not finished because it wasn’t as good. I had the flatbread and my husband had the Longhorn burger. He liked his just fine. Mine was okay but lacking much flavor. The 45 minute wait for our food was disappointing. Our waitress was friendly. The interior decor was cool. Our $64 meal for date night was a bit pricey for total of 3 drinks and pub food.

Hamburger was very dry wife's potato taco salad had no seasoning tasted like regular hamburger took 20 minutes to get a glass of water 45 minutes from appetizers to main course was hoping for a lot better food as busy as you always see it must be the

The Artichoke dip was awesome. Service and food was great also.

I was really impressed with this place! Such a quaint bar with a really cool vibe. Oh yeah, the drinks and food were great too!
