Scratch Biscuit Company - Roanoke

This place is awesome. I was a little confused that a potato cake here is a hashbrown. I was initially a little sad about that because I haven't had a potato cake in a long time lol. I couldn't be mad though, the sausage gravy was on point, the biscuits were amazing and I ate a good part of my boyfriend's pancakes...I'm not even a fan of pancakes, I could go on about it including the coffee having really good flavor, but I think you get the point. The staff was super sweet and we will definitely be back!

A local gem... super friendly staff, delicious down-home food, and atmosphere where it feels like everyone is a friend!! Our family can’t get enough of Scratch, in a fast-paced world it’s great to have a place to go where you can slow-down and enjoy a good meal with family and friends!

First time getting food from here ! Was searching for a local company that was a better alternative than McDonald’s and found this place . The biscuits are amazing and the sausage gravy is fresh and perfect ! This will be my new breakfast spot for sure ! I would go as far to say that they have the best biscuits in town !

Was in town visiting and came in for the first time today. Totally “went for it” and got the Dirty South Omelette with brisket. Ah-may-zing! The place was packed but we only had to wait about 10 mins. The service was great, the atmosphere was friendly and laid back and just overall had a great brunch. I can’t wait to come back!

This is hands down the best breakfast food in Roanoke. It is very reasonably priced. I love it. Nathan (the owner) is a really great guy and a great asset to our community.
