Bidra med feedbackWell.. tokyo joe?! Which means Rameeen ooh rameeeeeeen.. judging by the name- a mix of america and nippon together.. but the offering was all in Japanese foOd.. i only find some sort of Japanese fushionized dish into american like hamburg bowl (burger in a bowl).. maybe that 's what they meant about the american 'slightly ' connection.. but anyway i came here for a ramen since its raining hard.. i ordered for Miso Ramen and their Texas Crispy Maki and the salad.. it waz a great experience after all.
Not authentic and the prices are a little bit high for a student. We ordered the sushi buffet for p199 but as to my surprise, the price tells the taste. So the sushi was not good. No need to avail it. Aside from that, we ordered miso ramen. Noodles did not come from scratch but it wasnt that bad. However, it'a kinda salty. I am tempted to tell the waiter/cashier that their miso ramen is kinda salty.
We decided to have our lunch here since our friend recommended this to us. We were surprised that the prices are not that pleasing in our eyes but we gave it a try. We tried Buta Bacon Bowl, Gyudon Bowl, Joe's Chicken Bowl, Katsudon and Beef Ramen. Surprisingly, their servings are big. We loved all the food we ordered especially the sauces! And the service is really fast as well as their wifi! Overall, we were very full after eating since their rice is Japanese and that's why I think the food are pricey. Food: 5/5 Location: 5/5 Ambiance: 5/5 Will recommend: YES
At first glance, Tokyo Joe's price point may be a little steep for an average student. Surprisingly, their servings, especially the rice bowls, are enough for two people. My sister and I loved that the rice that they used is plump Japanese rice, which really went well with the dishes. What we tried: Chicken Teriyaki Bento really filling, it looks like the average Japanese fast food bento, but the chicken is really juicy, and the tempura is coated with a light fluffy but crisp batter Gyudon fatty beef strips over rice, topped with an egg, this was our favorite dish. My sister and I were full after a few bites. The rice was moist, and perfectly seasoned. We wouldn't mind having it again Salmon Chahan like Chao Fan, except with salmon, and less ingredients. The serving size for this one is only good for one, but it's one of the more affordable options. Overall, Tokyo Joe is one of the better Japanese Fastfood chains, the service is really good, and the wifi is stable, and often fast
Ive never been to tokyo joe yet but my brother brought me some before and they have the best gyudon for me it tasted really good and the serving was big and the price was affordable.
