I love this spot! I come every time I am in town. I love the rich culture and ambiance of the place. Stella has the most beautiful smile and personality. She greets us every time like we are family. It 's literally great vibes, food, music and people. I really don 't want to leave a review because I don 't want people to go and mess it up for me but I know that 's selfish! Everyone should experience this type of vibe. I just told Stella I actually live in Houston I come so much she thought I lived there. I told my mother brother and they all go now too. They tell me Stella said Hi and I just love the personal feel. I wish this business continued success and keep the pure authentic joy always! Grateful

I stumbled across this gem of a place looking for a basic breakfast and I was so impressed by the energy in the room the staff are incredible and inviting makes you feel like home and the food is INCREDIBLE! Don’t hesitate to get up and go visit Stella and the rest of the crew at Funky Cafe I promise you will not be disappointed. Thank you!! ?

THIS RESTAURANT IS DEFINITELY A HIDDEN GEM, DIAMOMD IN THE ROUGH AND EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN!!! THE FOOD WAS SO GOOD I ORDERED IT TO GO, BUT UNFORTUNATELY IT DIDN'T MAKE IT OUT THE DOOR LOL IT WAS COMPLETELY DEVOURED IN ABOUT 3MINUTES. I DID ORDER THE SOUSE AND A CUP OF COOL-AID. THE RESTAURANT IS VERY CLEAN, AND WELCOMING... THE OWNER IS A BEAUTIFUL DOWN TO EARTH WOMAN OF COLOR AND EXTREMELY HOSPITABLE. IF YOU ARE TIRED OF THE BORING FOOD CHAIN SCENE, DEFINITELY GIVE THIS RESTAURANT A TRY AND THE ONLY REGRET YOU'LL HAVE IS NOT TRYING THEM SOONER.
