Ruthie's Steak Seafood At Riverside Casino Golf Resort

Live on Saturday night, not enough coworkers, slow service, lukewarm eating, aromen were average, steaks should have been much more tender (on a price basis) but. they offered complementary dessert. they also arranged to get the dessert from the coffee shop next door. very nice server, but she was overwhelmed. we will probably not be back. we had a good night at the casino!

Unfortunately this was not a great experience! I ordered another drink and they forgot it for a long time. my steak horses did not come with the meal and when they arrived, they were hard on the floor and crusty! I will come back, but this meal was not the best!

Great service and eating was delicious. paige our server was busy, but she never missed at any level. we sat early, which was appreciated. all employees were attentive and professional. well made ruthie’s!

Nice place, seemed clean. Nice staff, great ambience. Food wasn’t the best, but not terrible. The sides were good, the fingerling potatoes were excellent. I would also recommend the corn. The bread was harder than I would expect. French onion soup was mediocre. I ordered a 14 oz ribeye cooked medium. It came out rare, which is not a deal breaker for me, but I prefer ribeye’s a little more cooked than a NY strip for example. I definitely tasted a “dirty” grill flavor, like old fat and food burning underneath the steak. Also, the meat was tender, likely because of how it was cooked, but loaded with connective tissue, which made it extremely difficult to chew. The food was also served at varying temperatures, for example the potatoes were nice and hot, and the steak was barely warm. Overall, I will eat there again, and would not tell anyone not to go, but for the price, I would expect a much better quality piece of meat. Perhaps my experience is an outlier and next time will be better.

Enjoyed our company, food, service and impressed with the cooks willingness to accommodate allergies. Highly recommend and will be back.
