Ocean Pho - Riverside

Great food. But now they don't stay open as hours showed. They close anytime with no word. Recently they got C rating and were shut down. They cleaned up and got back A rating but have not been open since. Not sure if they will ever reopen. I hope they do.

Closed: March 3 Grade: 75/C, failing Reason: Rodent infestation. The inspector saw droppings on dishes, shelving and boxes in a storage area, on top of the dishwasher and on its drainboard, and on the floor in several areas. Some food packages were also gnawed on. There was one unrelated critical violation, for seafood and cooked noodles being at unsafe temperatures. This was the restaurant's fourth failed inspection since December 2019 and it was closed once before, in December 2020, for having a cockroach infestation. Because of the repeated issues, it now faces a permit suspension/revocation hearing.

I've eaten here a few times and the food has always been good but drove by today and it was closed with a C health inspection rating. Not sure if they're just closed to fix problems or this location is shutting down but I am a bit concerned about what's going on in there. It has always seemed clean. All I got when I called their number was a recording saying their mailbox is full.

I've been coming to this restaurant regularly since it opened, and the pho here is exceptional and very consistent. This place is GOOD, but what takes it from GOOD to GREAT is one of their servers, SAMANTHA. She is the best at what she does, and brings life and fun into this restaurant. May God Bless Samantha!!! Prices: 4* Service: 5* Food: 3.5* The two girls who run the front of house were great. Very friendly and helpful. I ordered their two most ordered food, the charbroiled dish and the shrimp and pork springs rolls. My partner ordered their new garlic shrimp dish. The spring rolls were just ok. Almost only shredded lettuce, no real flavor. I wouldn't order them again. At other restaurants this is usually one of my favorites. The charbroiled dish was good. My partner's shrimp was delicious. Plump, large, and juicy shrimp. I would ordered that again.
