Delectable corned beef sandwiches, fish and chips, imported beer and awesome Irish whiskeys!

It was pretty great. My family did a day at the zoo and wanted a quiet place for an early dinner before heading back to the city. We popped in not expecting much, and were happy with the outcome. A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one! The service was crazy friendly and the food was top notch. It has typical pub fare, but they take it to the next Leven and then some. The corned beef was great, the black and blue burger was spiced amazingly. The kids meals weren't your typical generic Mac and cheese... It was great. I'd 100% stop in again when in the area.

Tried to come here on St. Patties and there were no tables. So this has been on my radar for some time! Came on a weeknight with my husband for dinner and drinks on the patio. We each ordered the fish and chips and it was really good! I loved that the batter was crispy on the outside and the fish was super tender on the inside! Pretty basic selection of craft brews I wanted an interesting stout, but find that many places don't have a huge selection of stouts, if any, so I settled on a Guinness. There was an interesting dichotomy of service the one guy was pretty quiet, seemed unfriendly. We were in super chill mode and were happy with our beers and the weather so we didn't really care. I kinda chalked it up to him being a little more introverted. The other guy was SUPER friendly (I think he was the owner. Either way, nothing to be worried about. Food, drinks and service efficiency were great so we were happy! Cool place a little Irish escape in nearby Riverside!

I liked it. I had a veggie wrap and a Guinness. I was with four others who thought it so-so, but their meals looked good to me: a burger, fish chips, corned beef sandwich and hummus w/pita. I tasted the hummus pita, thought it exceptional. Appetizer was bacon-wrapped dates, unusual, but also good. The pub is hidden in downtown Riverside, Illinois so that doesn't help it. Overall, pretty tasty and I'd go back.
