Dematteo's Pizza Riverside

My family loves this place. We found our local pizza place! So good. Pizza is great, bread sticks are awesome, so is the Stromboli. Our go to for pizza. I suggest ordering online ahead of time

7/13/22 Food is always great! Found out about them through work and group events, and now I get random cravings for their spicy chicken pizza! It 's not really spicy, but just really tasty!!! Decided to order delivery, since it 's too hot to cook and they have half priced pizzas on Wednesdays!! Pizzas were yummy as usual; their dough actually has flavor, unlike so many other places. I swear I could just eat their dough with the marinara sauce! The dough has a bit of chew and the right amount of crisp on the crust! You can request well done but you won 't always get it that way still delicious though, not a big deal. The Stromboli here are delicious but hadn 't had one in awhile because everytime we ordered it there was an issue, so we decided to try again and added a 4 Cheese Combo Stromboli with added meatballs (add 'l $0.85 charge) to today 's order. The flavor was outstanding this is for garlic lovers (like me)!!! I just wish I knew how the meatballs tasted; even though I paid extra, there was no meat in the Stromboli, just the regular 4 Cheese Combo (which does have veggies: Fresh tomato, fresh garlic, basil and artichoke hearts). Delicious and we will order again but for some reason, every time we order the Stromboli and add toppings, they 're never included. But the Stromboli as is, is still worth it; don 't mind losing extra topping fee(s) to support a mom pop shop versus the big chains. The delivery fee isn 't bad here either; was only $6.50/order which we prefer to pay over using one of the large delivery services. This place has really good dough and sauce which makes for a really good pizza. I grew up in an Sicilian household and this place is a 5 Star pizza place. It is a tad bit greasy but hey what Italian pizza isn't. Their sauce is nice and thick and flavorful. If they screw up your order it will cause chaos with the employees but the Owner will step right in and make things right. I recommend everybody to try this place just once.

I?ve lived in riverside my whole life and never heard of this place until just recently.at the moment there dine in is currently closed so I ordered a few pizzas for takeout and wow there pizza is delicious,it was a little bit pricey but hey you get what you pay for and you can tell they use real and fresh ingredients in there pizzas.also they have wonderful customer service everyone there was nice and smiling a pleasant atmosphere to be around I will definitely be coming here more often and recommend this place to my friends and family.

We love going to this restaurant, We had the meat lovers thin crust pizza (which was awesome) we also had mozzarella sticks, salad, garlic bread and garlic Parmesan boneless chicken wings they were fantastic. They followed all of the Covid protocols. The staff there were very nice and very helpful, especially Alak , he was very nice very polite and very helpful, they were not very busy for a Friday night which is surprising because they said they are always busy on Friday night, anyway if you love good pizza and friendly service you should give these folks a try, we went just a couple of days ago and I showed him a picture of one of their competitors of a double pepperoni thin crust pizza and they told me they could do better, they 100% did better!!!
