Bidra med feedbackThe museum is superb. The unique and antique display units are very attractive. The entry is free, that is the most important thing. You can spend hours or maybe a day being here. It has beautiful scenery outside also. There is tall ship at the outside of building, that is my most favorite one. You can buy drinks and snacks inside the museum with very reasonable price. I am sure that I will never get bored visiting the Riverside Museum.
Fantastic inside and out. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The exhibits were displayed with an eye for detail and great imagination. Bicycles up in the air, cars going up ramps and the old street all very well done. Visited for a couple of hours one morning whilst on holiday. Well worth a visit if you're in Glasgow.
Amazing place, lovely exhibits and pleasant layout. It is over two levels so ensure you make enough time to see it all as its well worth seeing everything. Great to see old cars, trains, buses all things transport related. There are two cafes on site for sit down snacks and drinks all reasonably priced. Covid restrictions in place are low key with mask wearing optional but sanitising stations are available.
It was an automatically delightful experience! We had been there with family and all of us enjoyed our time there. It was great to see and read about the history of automobiles ranging from the bicycle to the car and even public transportation. You need 2-3 hours to walk through the whole museum. Kids will surely like it. A great way to spend your weekend!
Really good museum loads to see and do. The Tall Ship was great. My 4 year old enjoyed the stories in the shops, and the pretend vehicles she could sit in. Cafe was fine. Only issue was the excessive heat, and the fact that the cloakroom was closed due to covid.
