Bidra med feedbackOne of the best views in rishikesh. good personal (not all places have a good personal.) bookcase with books that they can borrow while sitting there. the music of the bridge plaza below is annoying. two competing shoes both play the same video (a song over and over the whole day! I brought my ipod last time. they can also bring an interesting friend. updated by previous review on 2009-03-07
I was in jaipur for a month and had in the rule at least one meal per day in ananda, which was right down in the hall of my room. the food was good (not great except the Gaumen distributor) and I never got sick of everything I had there. the waiters are friendly and competent, so I felt that the nice service deserves a tipp. a little on the expensive side in comparison to the other restaurants served in the opposite served western foods, but it was a safer harbour for my tender.
Our friends liked this place, but I didn't. in the night when my man and I were there, we had to wait about 1 hour for our food. my order of the Chinese art stir fry noodles was too salty and tangy (not even chinese), but the reispulao of my mannes (seedy) was aromatic and delicious. but at the end we had both diarrea the next morning. I didn't go back, but other friends have and were okay.
This restaurant in Rishikesh offers one of the best views in the area. The staff is very friendly, which is not always the case in this town. They have a bookshelf with books you can borrow while you enjoy your meal. The food is delicious. The only downside is the annoying music coming from the plaza below. There are also two competing sales booths that both play the same video on loop all day. I recommend bringing headphones or an interesting friend to distract you from the noise.
Although our friends enjoyed their experience at this restaurant, my husband and I did not. On the night we dined there, we had to wait for about an hour for our meal. My Chinese-style stir fry noodles were overly salty and tangy, not at all authentic Chinese cuisine. On the other hand, my husband's rice pulao was aromatic and delicious. However, the next morning we both experienced digestive issues. I decided not to return to this restaurant, but our other friends who have dined there since have been fine.
